To act as a reminder of an event (eg when a colleague is on annual leave) occurring on a particular day(s) that does not block out time on your calendar 4 Use an All day event to block out a day 1. In Calendar view, double click on the area at the top of the column for the day on which you would like to create an All day event 2. In the Event window, type in a Subject and if applicable a Location for your All day event 3. By default, a tick will be placed in the box next to All day event 4.
