E. New Position Classification
The Classification and Compensation Manager will review all new positions for a
classification and/or skill level recommendation prior to the beginning of the
recruitment phase. New positions are given review priority; however, we
recommend that departments add additional lead-time to the actual beginning of
the recruitment process to allow for the classification review to take place. A
minimum of 5 working days from date of receipt in the Employment Services
office is recommended.
