For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, Sept. 13, 2004 ‘Mass casualty’ training session set at Cameron Cameron University and the Southwest Area Health Education Center invite all healthcare professionals and first responders to attend a two-hour, informational lecture on “Mass Casualty & Blast Trauma/Crush Syndrome” on Monday, Sept. 20. The lecture will be held from 4-6 p.m. in Room 407 of the south tower of the Shepler Center, located on University Drive on Cameron’s Lawton campus. This lecture is one in a series with relevant and accessible training to meet the threat of bioterrorism and other hazardous events. All training will be provided free of charge. Free continuing education or Council on Law Enforcement Education & Training (CLEET) credit is available for a variety of professions. Registration will be taken at the door on a first-come, first-seat basis.
