(My Father’s Dragon). The kids completed a
reading response to show their thinking. They
wrote about their favorite characters and part
of the story along with connections and their
thoughts on the author’s message.
* The Sunshines worked in teams to design, create,
and construct MARBLE MAZES! They had to
come up with a “blueprint” with corners, traps,
“dead ends,” a start, and a finish. They worked
together to build their maze and experimented
with how objects move in a variety of ways. After
exploring all of the mazes, the SUNSHINES wrote
about what they observed.
* We continue to work on comprehending texts
by sharing our thinking. Practice retelling
stories at home with details in sequential
order, language from the stories, and
character names.
