AT ST. IGNATIUS – Opportunities for participation continue
throughout the summer months. The 5:30 Contemporary Ensemble rehearses at 4:30 pm on
Sundays in the church. All singers and instrumentalists are invited to participate. We have
been hoping for a percussionist – we have the instruments! Also, the bi-monthly Spanish
liturgy music group meets at 11:15 am in the Lannon Chapel on the Sundays when there is a 12:00 pm
Spanish liturgy. Please contact Michael Burgo for more information at 617-552-6102 or burgo@bc.edu.

Pencils
Notebooks
PRESCHOOL CATECHISTS – We are very much in need! If you are interested in helping with
our pre-school program, which meets every Sunday during the 10am Mass, we could use your
help. Students use a curriculum which uses simple stories, songs, and art to get to know Jesus.
Please be in touch with Amy if you are interested.
REGISTRATION CONTINUES! Please pick up a registration form in the rectory if you have
not yet submitted your registration for next year. The donation continues to be $200 per family.
A hearty “thank you” to those who have already returned registration forms!
FAMILY MASS resumes on September 9th. If you are interested in serving that liturgy as a
Eucharistic Minister, lector, liturgical coordinator, or host family, contact Amy for more
information about training and scheduling.
VOLUNTEERS – we can always use more volunteers. If you are interested in serving on our
retreat team, on our middle school teaching team, as a substitute catechist, or as an aide in a
classroom, please contact Amy at chapmaab@bc.edu.
ELLEN G. HANLEY MEMORIAL CHILDREN’S LIBRARY - This summer we’ve
been reviewing our library collection with an eye towards growing beyond our
current 150+ books. We could use your help! Please send in suggestions for books,
music or audio CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes of a religious, moral and/or spiritual
nature that you feel would be a great addition to our library. We are especially
interested in CDs and DVDs that will appeal to kids, as well as religious-themed
activity books. Send your comments and suggestions to diane@marcuse.us. We’d
love to have more ‘librarians’ on hand 15 minutes before and after the Family Mass
during the upcoming school year. Let Diane Marcuse know if you are interested.
