Dear Parishioners,
When you read this, I will be in Barcelona, Spain beginning a brief pilgrimage to Lourdes,
Manresa and Montserrat. These places hold a special place in my own heart, especially Manresa, as that
was where St. Ignatius wrote his Spiritual Exercises. I want you to know that I will be holding you all in
prayer on this pilgrimage, and I look forward to returning on the Feast of Pentecost to share my journey
with you.
In Christ,
Fr. Bob

THANK YOU, CAROL CHOIR!
As we have come to the conclusion of another Carol Choir Season, I offer words of thanks
and appreciation to the Carol Choir and their parents/guardians. It has been a
wonderful year of singing, fun and music ministry (who could forget the PUMPKIN
CAROLING IN OCTOBER). We wish you a great summer of fun and relaxation.
I know I speak on behalf of the parish staff and members of Music Ministry when I say we are very
fortunate to have so many people who are willing to offer their time and talents. We are pleased to count
our young singers at the top of the list.
If you are in Grades 3 through 6 (second graders considered on an individual basis), like to sing, learn
about music and how it belongs in church, and have fun, please consider joining us on Wednesday
afternoons (4:30 – 5:30 pm) beginning in September. Watch the August bulletins for details. In the
meanwhile, I will be pleased to answer any questions.
In His Name,
Mr. Z
