NATIVITY OUTREACH –We will be collecting back to school supplies for Nativity Preparatory
School. Their requests are quite specific, and please make sure that items that you purchase are
“plain” (i.e. no designs). WE WILL BE COLLECTING ITEMS ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 (the
weekend that Family Mass resumes). Nativity needs:




Pencils
Notebooks
PRESCHOOL CATECHISTS – We are very much in need! If you are interested in helping with
our pre-school program, which meets every Sunday during the 10am Mass, we could use your
help. Students use a curriculum which uses simple stories, songs, and art to get to know Jesus.
Please be in touch with Amy if you are interested.
REGISTRATION CONTINUES! Please pick up a registration form in the rectory if you have
not yet submitted your registration for next year. The donation continues to be $200 per family.
A hearty “thank you” to those who have already returned registration forms!
FAMILY MASS resumes on September 9th. If you are interested in serving that liturgy as a
Eucharistic Minister, lector, liturgical coordinator, or host family, contact Amy for more
information about training and scheduling.
VOLUNTEERS – we can always use more volunteers. If you are interested in serving on our
retreat team, on our middle school teaching team, as a substitute catechist, or as an aide in a
classroom, please contact Amy at chapmaab@bc.edu.

THE SACRAMENTS
BAPTISM
Adults are baptized at the Easter Vigil as part of the Rites of Christian Initiation for
Adults. Infant and child baptisms are by arrangement.
FIRST EUCHARIST
Preparation occurs in Grade 2 and includes classes, retreat and home instruction.
CONFIRMATION
Our Confirmation program begins in the 9th grade. Students are confirmed in the
Spring of the 10th grade. Young adults who have been catechized but are not yet
confirmed should contact the rectory for an alternative program.
MATRIMONY
Must be registered as a parishioner six months prior to beginning Marriage
arrangements.
RECONCILIATION
Saturdays 3:15 - 3:45 PM Upper Church or by arrangement
ANOINTING OF THE SICK by arrangement.
