THE PARISH RETREAT AT EASTERN POINT IN GLOUCESTER is scheduled for June 4th – 6th. We are aware that the month of June is a particularly busy one for people. If you are interested in coming to the retreat it would be helpful if you could call the rectory (617-5526102) now to register . We hope that you can take advantage of this opportunity for personal renewal and refreshment. In particular, if you have never experienced a retreat or if it’s been a long time since your last one, we especially invite you to join us. The cost of the weekend is $200 with all meals included. CALL FOR PARISHIONERS INTERESTED IN SERVING ON THE PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL The St. Ignatius Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) seeks new members for a 3 year term beginning September, 2010. If you are interested in serving on the PPC or know someone else who might be interested, please contact Fr. Bob at 617-552-6110 or frvereec@bc.edu. The PPC is an advisory body to the pastor and has as its primary focus assisting the pastor in planning for the future of the parish. Updating and monitoring the implementation of the Parish Pastoral Plan is one of the major functions of the Council, in addition to specific planning initiatives. The PPC aims to be broadly representative of the parish in its composition. We especially invite young adults (ages 22-40) to consider serving on the PPC.
