Typically, about 80% of families are able to meet this expense. Approximate uniform costs: Skirt……………………………… $35 each Long-sleeved shirts………$22 each Short-sleeved shirts……$20 each V-neck fleece………………..$30 each Dress sweater…………….. $30 each Total per student…$215 NEWTON HABITAT UPDATE: Habitat’s 76 Webster Park, West Newton, project is 95% complete, with a target of full completion by the end of May. The hope is that the dedication of the homes will be in midJune; look for word of that in the bulletin. Monetary donations would be helpful in purchasing still-needed materials. For information, go to www.habitatboston.org. THANK YOU FROM THE MUSTARD SEED COMMUNITY – In April, we responded to a request for help in the aftermath of a fire in Jamaica. The following is the “thank you” to the parish from Fr. Gregory Ramkisoon: Greetings from the Mustard Seed Communities in Jamaica, On behalf of everyone here, I send you my deepest appreciation for your recent gift of $2,500.00 to help us several weeks ago. Your generosity is a blessing to our children who lost their home, and a blessing to all of us here. Thank you for responding so compassionately to the poorest of God’s poor, and in doing so to Christ Himself. Please continue to keep us in your prayers and be assured that I, the staff, and the children, in their own way, will be praying for you as well. In Christ, Fr. Gregory Ramkissoon Executive Director BOSTON CATHOLIC DIRECTORY – Copies of the Catholic Directory for 2009 are available here in the Rectory. The cost is $25.00. A Prayer for Generosity Dear Lord, teach me to be generous, teach me to serve you as you deserve, to give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to heed the wound, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not to seek reward, save that of knowing that I do your will.
