ST. IGNATIUS TRANSITIONS GROUP TRANSITIONS NEEDS YOU - For almost three years now, I have been helping to facilitate the work of the St. Ignatius Transitions Group. Being available to provide support and assistance to those hit by the recession has been rewarding on many levels -- personal, spiritual, and professional. So many of us have family and/or friends who have lost jobs and are struggling to find work -- from all indications, it will be some time before the situation improves. In a few months, I will be leaving to spend a semester overseas: thus I turn to you for help in this effort. Currently, the group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:30 PM in the Friary Room. Between the meetings, there can be 1-3 hours of additional responsibilities maintaining the e-mail distribution list and, occasionally, contacting a speaker and arranging for him/her to meet with the group. Other facilitators provide technical assistance such as resume writing and interview prep to the job seekers. Please consider contributing your time to this worthwhile and rewarding effort. If you are interested and/or have any questions, please contact me, Eileen Connor, at econnor@bu.edu. HOW DEEP CAN YOU GO?
