Our suggested donation this year is $250. ALL CATECHETICAL SESSIONS WILL BEGIN SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2011. Programs we offer: → Preschool, ages 3-4 → Classroom-based Kindergarten-Grade 5 → Arts-Based Program, grades 1-5 (more information below) → Traditional Middle School (social justice focus) → Just Youth – book club for middle school students → Confirmation Preparation (two year program; typically completed in 9th and 10th grade) INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARTS-BASED PROGRAM The ABP operates from a pedagogy which is experiential. In order to make it work, for both catechists and children, the class size needs to be such that all involved will receive the instruction and attention they deserve. In order to be fair to all of the families who are involved, we need to limit the number of children who are able to register to 60. One of the requirements for participating in this program will be attendance at the retreat (October 21-23). It is NOT a requirement to stay overnight at the retreat. If you were NOT a participant in the program last year (2010-2011), you are required to meet with Amy Chapman in order to register for this program. ST.
