BOOK DISCUSSION There will be a discussion of the book The Angel Esmeralda: Nine Stories written by Don DeLillo on Sunday, June 24th at 11:15 am in the parish offices. A review in the Jesuit magazine, America, suggests that Ignatian spirituality permeates much of DeLillo's fiction. "We see how each subject finds its pitch-perfect expression with DeLillo's truly incarnational sense of each and every word…. This former Catholic schoolboy deserves the attention of anyone who values great fiction. He is a master of the art." Come and share your reactions to these stories on June 24th. INVITATION Please join the New England Province of Jesuits for the Second Annual Downel Lecture, featuring Fr. Gregory Boyle, S.J., author of Tatoos on the Heart, and founder of Homeboy Industries. Date: Tuesday, June 5th at 7:00 p - Boston College High School. The lecture is free of charge. Space is limited. RSVP to kostiguy@sjnen.org or call 617-607-2800.
