WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS – MAY 11, 2014
Today, throughout the Church we celebrate World Day of Prayer for vocations. Pope Francis’ message to
us on this day, “A vocation flows from the heart of God and blossoms in the good soil of faithful people.
I turn now to those who are well disposed to listen to the voice of Christ that rings out in the church and
to understand what their own vocation is. I invite you to listen to and follow Jesus, and to allow
yourselves to be transformed interiorly by his words, which are ‘spirit and life’.”
Visit of Bishop Andrew Nkea,
Co-adjustor Bishop of Mamfe Diocese, Cameron
On Sunday, May 18, Fr. Maurice’s Bishop will be celebrating the Family Mass and the 5:30 Mass. There
will be a special collection at those Masses for the needs of the Mamfe Diocese. We welcome Bishop
Nkea and are grateful to him for the presence of Fr. Maurice in our parish community.
PARKING
Parking is always a challenge at St. Ignatius. With the demolition of More Hall across the street from the
church, there will be fewer parking space available. We recommend that you give yourself a little more
time when coming on Sunday mornings/evenings. You may always park in the Commonwealth Avenue
Garage, or on the Brighton Campus. The walk to church will benefit your body as well as your soul.

Queridos Parroquianos,
Cuenta una antigua leyenda que a un niño que estaba por nacer, le dijo Dios;
paciencia y cariño te enseñará a hablar.
siempre estaré a tu lado.
Padre Bob
