Scott 5:30 Ann, Michael and Stanley Crowley Dear Parishioners, I always knew that someday I would have to write this letter to let you know that my time as your pastor is coming to an end after 26 years. Within the next year I will be leaving St. Ignatius and you will have a new Jesuit pastor. As you can imagine, this is not something I would wish or hope for. I love the parish and have been blessed so profoundly with so many graces over these years. The advantage of the longevity is that I have had the privilege of becoming part of your families. I have baptized your children, witnessed their marriages and performed funerals for your loved ones. I can’t even begin to count the number of liturgies I have presided over in these 26 years. I have asked that I be able to remain with you through Easter of 2016 so I will have the opportunity to celebrate Holy Week with you once more. Although my departure is not imminent, I wanted to make sure you heard about this from me. St. Ignatius is a wonderfully vibrant and dynamic parish. I am sure that it will continue to be a place of graced encounter with God and an even more dynamic community of faith in the years to come. I am so grateful for all of you and look forward to the time that remains for me here as your pastor. Sincerely, Fr. Me alegra que me voy a quedar casi un año para seguir celebrando la Santa Misa con ustedes y tocar el violín Sinceramente, Padre Bob Congratulations to the following members of our parish RCIA program who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend: Kirsten Karis Siobhan O'Callaghan Brian Daniels Joao Stefanon THE IGNATIAN WAY: FROM GRATITUDE TO JOY - MAY 1ST - 3RD Join us for the St. Ignatius Spring Retreat at the Connors Retreat Center in Dover.
