Many of these civilians were kidnapped, tortured, and murdered without any official recognition or record, today they are referred to as the “Disappeared”. To this day, tens of thousands of family members of the Disappeared still do not know what happened to their sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. SHARE invites you to meet Marina Ortiz and Patricia Garcia of the Pro-Historical Memory Commission and Bethany Loberg of SHARE at St. Ignatius Upper Church on April 24 at 6:30 pm. Marina was disappeared as a child and Patricia was disappeared and tortured twice during the civil war.
