Project Status and discussion of Critical Path for Construction:
Original project bid date was delayed due to county permitting and Owner’s desire to perform
site work in February 2004.
The Clark Center is continuing on schedule and within budget. Time extensions (41 days,
COP #1 and COP #12) will not adversely impact occupancy and faculty/ student utilization.

Programming changes have impacted overall costs but costs are within the anticipated
contingency dollar amount.
Discussion of Project Quality
Clark College has been working closely with WSU Vancouver staff to ensure that the facility
meets or exceeds design and construction standards for both learning institutions. Particular
attention has been given to exterior architecture and electrical/mechanical systems, ensuring
continuity within existing WSU facilities.
