These lists are multi-level. Your child
will be placed in a particular spelling
group each week based on a pre-test
given in class. I will highlight which
group they are assigned to for the
week.
Group 1: #1-10 and high frequency words
Group 2: #6-15 and high frequency words
All children are encouraged to practice
the Challenge Vocabulary words for
extra credit. Spelling tests will be out
of 15 points, with the possibility of
earning 5 extra points for the Challenge
Vocabulary words.
***You need to be able to spell both the
singular and plural form of the word.
*** On the test, I will say “Write the word
__________. Now write the plural form of
that word. “
