Primary Purpose
Assists personnel with general clerical duties, data collection, budget monitoring, and completion of reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills
Passing scores on district’s clerical tests
Knowledge of computer technology and data entry including word processing and spreadsheets
Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of general budgeting and accounting principles
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience
Three years related experience
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1.
Responsible for staying abreast of updates on rules and regulations on the TLI grant.
2.
Prepares monthly grant reconciliations.
3.
Research status of all grant payouts.
4.
Ensures payments made under the grant are in compliance with the application and the objectives of the funder.
5.
Tabulates and posts statistical or numerical data to records.
6.
Maintains the accounting and budgeting of the grant.
7.
Maintains and organizes file records for preparation of internal and external audits.
8.
Provides reports and prepares correspondence.
9.
Maintains optimal level of accuracy for assigned work to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
10.
Set up filing records in accordance with policies and procedures.
11.
Assists TLI personnel on grant concerns.
12.
Responsible for gathering documentation to prepare invoices to outside agencies.
13.
Responsible for distribution of all correspondence to all departments and campuses.
14.
Prepares financial management reports.
15.
Assists the personnel with all clerical duties.
