Assists with the processing and receiving of travel documents and applicable documents for Fine Arts sponsored events Performs routine typing tasks to generate department documentation, records, and correspondence. Maintains, organizes, and files department records. Monitors the department communication center by answering telephones, directing calls, and receiving messages. Assists the Director with the production of reports and documents. Receives and distributes department mail. Maintains an optimal level of accuracy for assigned work to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Works independently receiving a minimum of detailed supervision guidance. Schedules appointments and maintains a calendar for the department. Coordinates specific work requiring the participation of other departments. Provides reports, correspondence and verbal assistance to school officials. Provides instructions to other employees under the supervisor’s direction. Assists with coordination and preparation of material for District-wide Fine Arts events.
