AP BIOLOGY SUMMER ASSIGNMENT

Order a lab manual for the class. We will use this lab manual throughout the course to complete the 12 labs
that are REQUIRED by the College Board. You may either purchase your own manual at
www.collegeboard.com (go to store in the upper left corner and search for item 991461) for around $18.00
or borrow one from me. If you purchase your own, then you will be allowed to write in it. If you borrow
one from me, you will have to write all your information on your own paper.
Please make arrangements to have your lab manual the first week of school. It takes a few weeks to get it
in (the closer to start of school you wait, the longer it will take to get it). So, try to get it ordered ASAP.

Complete the summer assignments listed below. You have 4 assignments with specific due dates. You can
email me the answers at cdotson@wcpss.net or bring them to school and place them in my box by noon. I
will go by the school the day they are due.

 Under Chapter One in left margin, click on Internet Exercises
 Do both Activities listed (History of Biology and Frozen for the future)
 You will see down at the bottom where you can email me your answers when finished

****word to the wise…..email them to yourself as well. There have been problems in
the past where they disappear in the great internet when being emailed. 
