To access the website follow these steps: 1. Type in www.wsfcs.k12.nc.us 2. At the top left corner click Select A School 3. Click Meadowlark Middle 4. Click Teams 5. Click Spartans Student Progress/Grades Student progress should be monitored using the PAM system. If you need a log-in, please contact Mrs. Tuttle in the main office. Occasionally paper progress reports will be sent home and must be signed and returned the following school day. Schoolwork Policy Our goal is for every student to be successful this year. We feel that teaching our students good work habits is a vital tool for their success this year and in high school. If a student chooses not to turn in any assignment, he/she may be assigned a working lunch period. Points will be deducted for work turned in late. No assignment will be accepted more than one week after the due date. Supplies Math 3-ring binder (at least 1 ½ inch) Binder Dividers Red Ink Pen Graph paper Graphing Calculator (for home use) Ruler Language Arts 3-ring binder (at least 1 ½ inch) Binder Dividers One 2-pocket folder 3X5 Index Cards Science One 2 pocket folder Two small wire-bound notebooks or composition books Social Studies Spiral notebook with 150 pages minimum In addition to these items, students will need plenty of loose-leaf paper, pens (blue or black), pencils, colored pencils or markers, highlighters, Flash Drive 1mb or larger, and glue sticks. Please also send a box of tissue to your home room teacher. A Few Reminders Students need to pay the $4.00 school fees during the first two weeks of school. If your student is staying after school for tutoring or make-up work please make sure your child is picked up by 3:00. Students must also bring in a signed note to stay after school. Check with the individual teacher for his/her afterschool schedule. Students must have their agenda every day. Replacement agendas are $5.00. Please return the information sheets to your homeroom teacher by the end of the first week of school.
