Dear Parents,
The Math Department at the Middle School is very excited to announce a new Math
Club being formed this Fall! The purpose of this letter is to invite your son/daughter to
come and join the fun.
The Math Club will meet during lunch hour and /or after school once or twice a week
depending on students’ availability. The meeting times and dates will be determined
after the club is formed.
Members of the Math Club will be given the opportunity to use and improve their
mathematics skills and to learn more about advancements and opportunities in the
fields of mathematics. They will also have the opportunity to compete in two Math
competitions outside the building and numerous online practice competitions. The club
is open to 5th – 8th Grade students, and will run from October – February.
If your son/daughter is interested in signing up or finding out more about the club,
please have them sign up in the office and attend a very important meeting September
30th in room 10 at 11:30am.
