Course Description: The course deals accounting methods applicable to specialized forms of business organizations engaged in special types of business transactions such as consignment, joint-venture, hire purchase and departmental transactions and accounting from incomplete records.. Course Objectives: The primary objective of the course is to facilitate the learner to acquire skills and knowledge in advanced level of accounting methods applicable to special types of business enterprises and develop an insight in to the different methods applicable on specialized financial transactions.. Learning Outcomes: After completing the course, the students will be able to develop skills in advanced level of accounting methods applied in special types of business organizations. Failure to do so will result in grade reduction. Students are expected to follow OCMT’s standardized attendance policy. Lecture attendance is mandatory. Students are allowed maximally of 15% absentia of the total module hours. Students are required to work on projects in and outside of class, and must complete all assignments.
