N.B.: The last day for any make-up, or any late work to be turned in, is Thursday May 28, at
3:00 p.m. Please be aware that all tests and quizzes, with the exception of the Semester II
Final Exam, will be recycled during the summer.
Monday May 18
Lesson or Activity: Vocabulary 7.1 Quiz. lecture: read pages 334-335-336 (take notes
on lecture pages 334; 335;336 ) Assignments: Finish notes
Tuesday May 19
Lesson or Activity: Stamp notes .Discuss lectures -- Re-read lecture and write exercises
A page 334; B page 335; C pages 336—Assignments: Study lectures 7.1 for Quiz;
finish exercises
Wednesday 20
Lesson or Activity: Discuss lectures and correct exercises. Chapitre 7.1 Lecture Quiz
- Teacher models les verbes pronominaux: Following the book, take notes on your own
paper- Assignments: write ex. 2, 4 page 339
Thursday 21
Lesson or Activity: -Chapitre 7.1: practice les verbes pronominaux with handout
exercises ; correct exercises 2; 4 page 339- Assignments: Study for grammar
quiz; Quiz includes present tense, translation from English, passé composé with
or without agreement.
Friday 22
Lesson or Activity: Stamp and correct exercises in handout, if applicable –
Grammar Quiz sur les verbes pronominaux . Staple exercises
(see list below).
Assignments:review for Semester I Final
Extra credit on final: Write essay, following tache 6 on page 343—First make an
outline, with a few bullets in FRENCH about the points you are going to talk about. Then
write essay. Last day essay can be posted for full credit on blog: Wednesday at
midnight. Essay is extra credit on semester final exam and must be a narration of
extensive length, in the passé et imparfait. See rubric below. Do not forget an
introduction and a conclusion. Demonstrate control of language!

Essay: At least two subjunctive clauses; one clause with verbs that state reality
and do not require the subjunctive; use passé composé et imparfait; pronoms.
Introduction and conclusion are mandatory, and will affect how many points you
can get. Outline is mandatory. It must be hand written (in French) and turned in to
teacher on Wednesday.
