Course Requirements
Introduction
There are specific assignments and deadlines for this class. See the course
calendar. This is not a self-paced class.
Requirements
There will be three exams in this class. The exams will cover the
following material: Exam 1 Chapters 1-5, Exam 2 Chapters 6-10 and
Exam 3 Chapters 11-15. These tests must be taken on the date specified.
Chapter assignments: All chapter assignments can be found under
Assignments on the Home Page and on the Course Menu. Only the nine
exercises assigned must be completed for a grade. In each chapter you
must complete the chapter quiz. There is a direct link to the quizzes on the
Homepage and on the Calendar. The exercises and quizzes will each be
worth ten points. The Instructor will drop the four lowest scores. The total
possible points for both the exercises and quizzes will be 200 points. Each
major exam will be worth 100 points. Your final grade will be determined
by the sum of the quiz, exercise and exam grades, divided by 5.
