See the course calendar. This is not a self-paced class. Requirements There will be three exams in this class. The exams will cover the following material: Exam 1 Chapters 1-5, Exam 2 Chapters 6-10 and Exam 3 Chapters 11-15. These tests must be taken on the date specified. Chapter assignments: All chapter assignments can be found under Assignments on the Home Page and on the Course Menu. Only the nine exercises assigned must be completed for a grade. In each chapter you must complete the chapter quiz. There is a direct link to the quizzes on the Homepage and on the Calendar. The exercises and quizzes will each be worth ten points. The Instructor will drop the four lowest scores. The total possible points for both the exercises and quizzes will be 200 points. Each major exam will be worth 100 points. Your final grade will be determined by the sum of the quiz, exercise and exam grades, divided by 5. Textbooks are not to be used on quizzes or exams and the Exercises submitted should be the student's work. Students who violate these rules will be dropped from the class with a grade of F.
