 HCC Basic Eagle Online Faculty Training Guide How to Set Up the Gradebook in Eagle Online 2 Gradebooks are as personal and varied as instructor teaching styles. There are several ways to set up your EO2 Gradebook. This tutorial will explain how to set up a simple Gradebook in your EO2 course. Set Up EO 2 Gradebook: 1.
Login to Eagle Online 2. 2.
Select the course that you would like to setup your Gradebook. 3.
On the upper right-­‐hand side of the screen, click the Turn editing on button 4.
In the Administration block, click Grades. 5.
The Eagle Online 2 Grade Report will appear. The students are listed in the first column and each activity reads horizontally. 6.
Select the Setup tab, then click on My preferences: Grader report 7.
Review the settings. For most, you will select the defaults. The most common changes deal with the fields in the Special rows and General sections. Special Rows Section a.

Grades selected for column averages: Determines if cells with no grade should be included in calculations. Show number of grades in averages: Displays the number of grades used when calculating the average. HCC CTLE | 2015 1 General Section a.
Quick grading: Select Yes to enable many grades to be edited at the same time. b.
Show quick feedback: Select Yes to allow feedback for grades. c.
Students per page: Sets the number of students displayed per page in the grader report. d.
Show only active enrolments: If enabled suspended users will not be shown in Gradebook. Note after a course ends, you will want to change this setting to "No" so you can see the students again. e.
Enable AJAX: Adds a layer of AJAX functionality to the grader report, simplifying and speeding up common operations. Depends on JavaScript being switched on at the user's browser level. 8.
