Constant harassment is key! 

Encourage your students to use MML by making sure
they buy a new book or the access code. Details are
in the syllabus.

The access code alone is cheaper than a used book.

Walk out to the computers after class and help the
hold-out students log on.

T HE MML GRADEBOOK IS A
GREAT WAY FOR STUDENTS
TO SEE THEIR GRADES

It allows your students to keep track of their
grades in a private, secure way.

It allows you to calculate midterm and final
grades without Excel or other software.
Caution: it is probably still a good idea to give each
student a paper copy of how they are doing at
least three times during the semester.

Visit to our Blackboard discussion:

Go to Bmcc.cuny.edu, then click on cuny portal at the
top.

Click on portal login, then on Blackboard Direct, then
type in your Blackboard login (contact the BMCC help
desk if you have trouble here).

Under organization search (on the bottom left), type
BMCC Math.

Look for BMCC_Math_Dept and click on enroll. Now
our department will show up under groups. Go into
that group and click on discussions.
