Agriculture, Biography, and Geography – All Departments should get a copy Send a campus wide e-mail to all students, or at least to all deans Letterhead for ESC o Gives the committee the visual presence that it deserves in matters of importance – e.g. writing letters to the city council, to the legislature, or perhaps the president of the university o Get Three Bids – Copy Cats, Kinko’s, Print Shop, etc. Bus Advertisements o Get a quote Recycle Mania o Ranks universities across the nation in terms of how much they recycle in terms of lbs./student Promotions Budget o How much of the ESC budget should go towards promotional materials? Stickers, t-shirts, magnets, etc. Research how much other non-profits budget for promotions How do we increase the amount of recycling at Texas State? o ASG Legislation? o Replace trash bins in offices and classrooms with dual recycling bin/trashcan receptacle… How much would that cost? o We need more containers and more people to pick up containers o Create Policy Earth Day at Aquarena Springs – April 20, 2008 o Lloyd Dogget is speaking at the event o ESC will officially sponsor the event with a donation of $500 by a unanimous vote (Motion: Hayat; Second: Lindsey) Bobcat Build o ESC will officially sponsor the event with a donation of $100 by a unanimous vote (Motion: Lindsey; Second: Hayat)
