Newsline ~ Egyptian Geese
Autumn 2008
Road Safety Week was held in
November. The Egyptian Geese
learned how to cross the road and
produced a report to show the school
in our class assembly. We also
looked at different types of crossings
and how to use them safely. We
looked at how to be seen at night and
sang a song in our assembly about
wearing bright clothes.
When its not light, wear something
bright!!
Maths Day this year had a pirate
theme. Each class performed an
act in ‘Alexandra’s got Maths
Talent’. The Egyptian Geese have
been learning their times tables, so
we learnt a song about our two
times tables. We performed it in
assembly and won! Well done me
hearties!
The Egyptian Pirates definitely
have Maths talent!
The graffiti artists
Hard at work!
In Geography this
term we have been
looking at our local
environment.
We
looked at the graffiti
in Rayners Lane and
were surprised by
the amount that we
found. We took part
in a graffiti workshop
and learned about
when it is appropriate
to use graffiti. Our
artistic talents can be
seen on the wall
outside
our
classroom.
