Egyptian Research
Learning Intentions:
1. Using multiple sources you will be able to research information related to a specific element of
Ancient Egyptian culture and repeat that information in your own words.
2. You will be able to summarize your understanding of Ancient Egyptian culture into an class
made Encyclopedia
Over the next 2 weeks you will work to compile notes on
ancient Egypt. You may select 3-4 big ideas that interest
you to research. Here is a list of some possible topics:
 Ancient Egyptian Rulers
 Daily Life of Egyptians
 Clothing Styles/Fashion
 Pyramids
 Hieroglyphics
 Tombs (Valley of the Kings)
 Egyptian Religion/Gods
 Ramses the Great
Expectations:
Your notes are to be written using the format taught in class.
All your work is to be kept organized and in your binder at all times.
You must be able to prove you understand your notes.
No books are to be brought home unless they are signed out.
** This is an individual project. However, you may share resources with a friend who is
researching similar topics.
Your finished notes will be collected for marking on Monday, October 20th.
