Dear Parents,
On Wednesday 25th March we are looking to celebrate the end of our Ancient Egyptian topic with a
‘Fabulous Finish’ and will be having a lively and engaging Ancient Egyptian day!
The children will need to come to school on this day in costume. This can be kept simple with just a
plain white sheet (please see picture below), as the children will have made Egyptian collars and
accessories to make their costume more authentic. If you wish, you can go for something more
fancy, however that is entirely up to the individual. I will encourage children to wrap up when on
breaks and put jogging bottoms on from their P.E kit if necessary as there is still a chill in the air.
Throughout the day, children will be experiencing drama and re-enactments of Ancient Egyptian life,
as well as taste-testing Ancient Egyptian food.
