Two traffic control schemes with major junction improvements, including the supply and installation of additional signals and controllers running both MOVA and SCOOT will be deployed to improve waiting times for traffic joining and leaving the motorway. The project was secured with a share of a £170 million pinch point fund to remove bottlenecks.
