 Planning for and implementing Merger Integration efforts for Newmont Gold

 Responsible for operations of Puerto Rico cable systems jointly owned by Adelphia and
Merrill Lynch. Also, Board of Director role in managing and approving terms of sale of
partnership to MidOcean Partners. Daniels Communications advised.
 Leader of Adelphia CLEC business (ABIS) and responsible for restructuring significant
financial issues associated with Rigas family unsuccessful IPO and spin of ABIS
business unit. Lead the effort to sell ABIS markets to Telcove (now part of Level 3) and
settle $1.5B lawsuit from improper Rigas family financial transaction. Wilkie Farr and
Grant Thornton advised.

Strong Operations, Technology, and Finance/Accounting background.
 $1.4 Billion P&L responsibility leading the Americas for Clear Channel Outdoor.
Responsibility for all operating functions for all media formats, Information Technology,
Digital Control and Strategic Projects/Business Development.
 $750 Million dollar P&L responsibility leading the SE United States of Adelphia -a 7
state, 1.1 million customer, 2,500 employee region of the large video and high speed
internet company. Hired by Adelphia post bankruptcy as part of turnaround team.
 Led region through significant and needed improvement efforts in daily customer
delivery operations, network operations, and customer care and maintenance/repair.
Lead turnaround of Southeast region.
 Launched unique marketing campaign (“Made-to-order”), rebuilt several key networks
in SE region and launched new products (High Speed Internet, Digital Video
Recording, and Digital packages) in SE region to improve subscriber adds, retention
and average revenue per subscriber.

Developed significant technology background as leader and CIO of AT&T Broadband
Information Technology function – a $500 million, 1,800 person organization. Also
strategic leader of IT function and hired a CIO for Adelphia.

Managed national billing organization for 13 million video, 2 million high speed internet,
and 1 million Voice over IP customers. Developed and implemented billing operations for
internet and voice customers as those products were launched during my tenure at AT&T
Broadband.

Experience handling and negotiating very large business deals and contracts - $2 B
managed services agreement arbitrated and renegotiated while with AT&T- $1.5 B
separation and services agreement with Adelphia – Settled large bankruptcy related
contracts and issues with Verizon, Sprint, MCI, Oracle, and others.


Developed crisis management skills having restored service to all of Adelphia Florida
operations on 3 separate occasions (Hurricanes –Frances, Jeanne, and Wilma).
Chief Operating Officer- Clear Channel Outdoor-Americas
July 2010 – Jan 2012
Perform Chief Operating officer duties for all operations for a $1.4B P&L with 2,000 employees
in approximately 40 branches and specialty businesses in the Americas (United States and
Canada). Information Technologies, Airport Segment and Strategic Projects report into COO
office. Responsible for implementation of key strategies, build out of digital network, branch
management team development and group president mentorship and development.
Chief Executive Officer- Sharklet Technologies
June 2007 – July 2010
Founder and Chief Executive of startup bio-technology company. Company is in pre-clinical
stage and angel and venture capital financed.
Company has gone from startup valuation of $1M to $8.5 M in 24 months. First major
contract with Fortune 200 medical device company is in place.
Led Series A financing with Limestone Ventures for Sharklet Technologies.
Adelphia Communications Corporation
March 2003 – August 2006
Southeast Region SVP from May 2004 to August 2006
 SE operations covered MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC and Puerto Rico. Provided executive
development and direction for Regional Vice Presidents, General Manager team and
Regional Executives.
 Responsible for all support and operation functions including financial planning and
analysis, accounting, day-to-day operations, engineering and technology, network
management, customer care, legal, public relations, human resources, and marketing.
 Launched High Speed Data, Video on Demand and Digital Simulcast products in large
geographic areas of Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. Successfully lead efforts to
oppose labor organization in 2 key regional markets.
CAO- Chief Administrative Officer – March 2003 through May 2004
 Responsible for leading and then selling $50 M CLEC operation as part of negotiated
settlement. CLEC operation covered 9 states and focused on middle market ($2B and
below) commercial enterprises.
 Responsible for development of VoIP and Commercial Services Strategy for all of
Adelphia. Implemented technology solutions for High Speed Data provisioning.
 Lead IT and Logistics and Supply Chain functions including development and
implementation of several customer care tools and web based procurement auction tool.
 Significant involvement in one of the most complicated bankruptcy cases in U.S. history
including a $1.5B claim resolution and settlement of unresolved legal claims.
Ricochet Wireless Networks

 Responsible for Accounting and Finance, Risk Management, IT, Human Resources,
Purchasing, and Insurance functions. Helped set strategy for this entrepreneurial
technology company.
 Lead effort to finance business plan with San Jose based venture capital entity (Venture
Partners). Successfully completed B round of financing.
AT&T Broadband
February, 2000 – December 2002
Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President-Billing Operations and Merger Leader
 Leader on the merger integration team for combining MediaOne operations into AT&T
Broadband.
 Responsible for technology strategy and implementation of nation wide systems
infrastructure at AT&T Broadband for new products. Launch of high speed data and VoIP
products required provisioning products, order entry and billing, and customer care
technology and operations for millions of customers. Member of company’s senior
strategy group - CEO Operating Council.
 Responsible for accurate and timely billing of $10 Billion (annual) revenue stream across
video, high speed Internet, telephony and advanced video services.
 Successfully launched local and long-distance telephony offerings for AT&T Broadband’s
26 million household footprint. AT&T Broadband added 1 million telephony customers in
24 months. Designed, selected and implemented all operating and provisioning systems
for switches, hybrid fiber-coax plant, and third party entities.
 Improved productivity in the Information Technology and Billing Operation functions.
While scaling new businesses, IT and billing operations moved from 1,500 people and a
$500 million annual budget to 850 people and a $350 million budget in 18 months.
