Math- Topic 3: Using Place Value to Add and Subtract
Monday- Complete Week 8 Sheet. Study topics 2 & 3 vocabulary!
Tuesday- Complete Week 8 Sheet. Study topics 2 & 3 vocabulary!
Wednesday- Complete Week 8 Sheet.
Thursday- Complete Week 8 Sheet. Study topics 2 & 3
vocabulary!
Friday- Week 8 Sheet due today!
Science- Chapter 4
Work may be started on science fair projects as soon as
proposal is approved! Chapter test and voc. test are open
book/notes! Lesson sheets are open book as well.
Health- Chapter 2
We are on chapter 2. There will be an open book test given when
we finish the chapter.
*Health homework sheet given on Monday, September 21. Front
and back completed is due by October 2.
Announcements:
1) Students: Study and MEMORIZE 0-5 multiplication facts.
Each student received a color copy of the mult. facts laminated
on card stock. Card should be kept in the binder in the math
section. Be sure to fill out your mult. log Monday-Thursday
and get your parents to initial each day!
2) Visit Mrs. Edwards’ website for updated news and info. I
update my calendar and website weekly.
3) Collect & bring in box tops for education.
4) Weekly papers come home each Thursday to be signed and
returned to school. They will be in your child’s binder. Behavior
charts will be taken up on Wednesdays, updated, and returned on
Thursdays. Behavior charts stay in the sheet protector in the
binder.
5) Homecoming Spirit Days: 9/30- wear fav. singer/band t-shirt;
10/1- rock star day; 10/2- wear homecoming t-shirt
6) Our school offers breakfast in the cafeteria.
7) Tri-fold boards for science fair projects on sale now for
$3.00 each. Mrs. Edwards is selling them.
8) Cookie Dough Fundraiser orders due October 5.
9) Conference day: October 12
10) Report cards go home: October 16
