Job ID: 124580 Communications Internship Siemens Infrastructure & Cities | Poole You will be supporting the Infrastructure & Cities Sector and Mobility and Logistics Division communications team in the production and distribution of internal and external newsletters, web administration and optimisation, event support, collateral production and to provide general administrative support to the Communications function. What are my responsibilities? Assisting in the production of internal and external company newsletters Maintaining and developing associated websites, intranets, extranets and social media platforms Assisting in the production of publicity literature Co-ordinating the printing and delivery of communications materials Maintaining and developing the company image library Co-ordinating and attending events and exhibitions Ensuring all of the above adheres to brand standards and guideline To provide administrative support for the Communications function What do I need to qualify for this job? You must be studying, or have studied a Marketing or Communications related subject and be able to start with us soon and continue working with us till late August You must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Experience of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Interest in online web updating would be an advantage, although not essential You must be able to create and maintain good relationships with local stakeholders and key contacts across the organisation. Be able to work with in a team You must be self motivated and be able to work to strict deadlines You must have excellent attention to detail as well as consistency and awareness of the Siemens brand guidelines What else do I need to know? This role is based in Poole, Dorset but as part of the role you maybe required to travel to other UK sites so flexibility is essential Start Date: ASAP Closing Date: Sunday 6th January 2013
