RIGGING
This table is only for guidance and should not rigidly be enforced. As a rule of thumb, for every 1 cm that the TD is reduced it has the equivalent
effect on gearing by reducing the Inboard oar length by 3cm.

The gate is nominally adjusted to a 4º aft pitch, although this is increased when 6º when 0º pitch blades (such as
Dreissigacker Cleavers) are used. Consult the comprehensive instructions supplied when using “Smoothies” as they do
not use a standard aft pitch.
The lateral gate pitch cannot usually be adjusted, but this should be approximately 1-2º.
