Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description:







Initiate DFM (design for manufacture) and DFA (design for assembly) directives within
development group.
Provide manufacturing expertise in product development.
Experience in electrical-mechanical product design.
Develops manufacturing process and equipment that will reduce labor costs and improve
manufacturing efficiency.
Significant experience with machine tooling and fixture design
Work with Design team to design and develop new products and improve existing designs
Potential travel worldwide to work with team or customers on current or future projects, as
required.
Essential Skills:
 Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
 Minimum 2 years of directly related Manufacture Engineering experience.
 Expertise in Solid Works.
 Superior written and verbal communication skills
 Prior experience in a QA controlled design environment.
 Proficiency in reading and interpreting detail drawings and schematics



Must be highly organized and able to multi task in an extremely dynamic environment
Must be a highly organized self motivated team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
Non-Essential Skills:
 Ability to understand and apply GD&T
 Experience in electro-mechanical design
