For the rollout of a new rotation program (within the EMEA region) for Engineering graduates we are looking for: Manufacturing Engineers The CIS EMEA Operations rotation program will span over a 2 year period, during which time you will participate in six different functional assignments. Assignments will vary in timing – from one month’s duration, with others up to 8 months. For our European Opportunities, we have identified three manufacturing sites to support this program - Bideford in the UK, Trutnov in Czech Republic and Bydgoszcz in Poland. The rotation program will provide opportunities for you to participate in extensive training programs and afford you the opportunity to network and travel to the sites selected for this program. On completion of the 2 year program, you will continue in full time employment at your site of hire. Role Statement: A manufacturing engineer is responsible for the management and control of Tooling and Assembly Projects and Technologies to ensure the Company's Processes perform at an optimum level. Furthermore it needs to be ensured that Environmental and Health and Safety Legislation is complied with, particularly during the introduction or modification of Tools and Equipment Main Tasks / Responsibilities Plan and control the implementation, design and modification of Tools and assembly equipment to achieve C.E.R. Rates within project lead-time. Testing, evaluation and approval of tools, machinery and equipment by Process Control, Engineering Trials and Process Capability Studies. Initiate Continuous Improvement Programs to significantly improve tooling, machinery and equipment performance and Cost Reductions within the Production Operation. To be the Project Leader for certain nominated major projects where inter-departmental disciplines are involved. Particular responsibility will be for the design of tooling and equipment. Ensuring that products are designed for ease of manufacture, automatic assembly, handling, packaging, transit and customer application and that tooling incorporates the latest and best in new technology in order to maximize production rates and minimize maintenance and changeover times. Key Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge: Must have minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering). You will have minimal supervision at all times. It is very important that you are a self-starter and very highly motivated together with a flair for innovative philosophies. Must have excellent written, verbal, presentation and analytic skills. The role during the assignment (2 year period) will require you to travel and spend periods of time at all of the 3 sites identified for this exciting program. This is fully sponsored by the Company.
