Describe what you did do get your business going - Did you talk to people to get business ideas? - Did you do research to see what products were out there? - Did you establish goals, timelines, and deadlines for your business? Explain what role each person in your team plays in the company. - What skills do they bring to the company? - How will the skills of each person help to keep the company going? Key Partners This section should be approximately ¾ to one page in length. Describe the people and resources you needed to get your business going. Are you partnering with other businesses to sell your product? Could your product be used in other environments besides the classroom such as a hospital, conference rooms, etc.? How will your product be sold? With whom would you need to work to get your product into classrooms and other environments? What steps do you need to take to work with these people? Will you need to create partnerships to manufacture your product? If another company will manufacture your product for you, how will you build your relationship with them? You may also want to discuss your secondary market. Your secondary market is any other market in which your product may be useful. Customer Relationships This section should be approximately ½ page to one page. Describe how you interact with your customers. - What is your company’s customer service policy? - If you customer has questions, how do they get them answered? - Does your product have a warranty? - How will you know your customers are satisfied? What will you do if they are not? Channels This section should be approximately ½ page. What marketing tool will you use to get your product to your customers? Why did you choose this method? Are their any marketing tools that your company plans to use in the future? You can use information from your graphic organizer for Milestone # 12. Revenue and Benefits This section should be approximately ½ page. Describe how your company will make money from your product. Explain what you will do with your profits to sustain your business.
