Biographical Info: Lei Shanbhag was born and raised in an artist family in mainland China. After receiving her first degree in medicine in 1987, Lei came to the United States of America in 1989. Lei studied Fine Arts at the University of Minnesota and has been a freelance artist afterwards. Since then Lei's paintings and photography have been exhibited in solo and group shows at OK Harris Works of Arts (NY), Castle Gallery at the College of New Rochelle (NY), Polo Gallery (NJ), City Without Walls Gallery (NJ), Cinema Gallery (IL), Parkland College Art Gallery (IL), Verde Gallery (IL), Illini Art Gallery (IL), Krannert Performing Arts Center (IL), Springer Cultural Center (IL), Richland Community College(IL), Krannert Museum and others.
