Job Description: Marketing Internship (please see proposed compensation package below)
The Marketing Intern will directly assist Pamela Barnhill, President of InnSuites Hospitality Trust, with development and execution of a Marketing Plan for our new subsidiary, InnDependent Boutique
Collection (IBC Hotels). With over 2,800 Independent Hotels in 38 countries, IBC continues to grow daily. Founded by Independent Hoteliers for Independent Hoteliers as well as Independent Travelers.
IBC knows the challenges of an independent hotel. Pamela Barnhill grew up in the hotel business and founded IBC to help make independent hotels more successful by strength in numbers. IBC incorporates first-hand experience in what it takes to make independent hotels succeed.
This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to marketing and apply them in a professional setting. He or she will gain a better understanding of the role of a President of a large regional hospitality organization publically traded on the New York Stock Exchange (Tickler: IHT). The candidate will also have opportunities to network with other InnSuites Hospitality Trust resources and learn more about the Hospitality business.
The Marketing Intern will learn the practical application of:

Understand how Internet Marketing Plans are developed and how they are measured.

Assist in other marketing oriented tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program in
Business/Marketing.

Able to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously

Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Compensation:
In exchange for completion of the required assignments over 80-100 hours, the Intern will receive 10
VIPs to any of our 8 InnSuites Hotel properties. In exchange for a $5 fee plus taxes, a VIP certificate holder is entitled to a night stay. Our hotels are located in Phoenix, Tucson, Ft. Worth Texas,
Albuquerque, Ontario California and Yuma.
