The number of teachers facilitating workshops and in-services will increase by 5% as measured by school’s PD
calendar.
100% of all teachers will have participated in PLCs and data analysis meetings twice every six days as measured by
meeting minutes/attendance log.
Student suspensions for disruptive behavior will be reduced by 5% as measured by PowerSchools incident data.
The LRE Parent Survey will indicate that 75% of the parents have noticed an increase in school/home communication.
100% of all classroom teachers will reduce the amount of direct instruction as measured by administrative
observations.
3 academic goals will be created pending the release of 2012-2013 EOG data.

Class size will be adjusted to address student individual instructional needs through flexible grouping of students in the
most effective utilization of teaching teams. Maximum teaching load will be used to allow teachers in specific areas of
the curriculum to teach students designated for specific skill needs and to address the large number of students
requesting elective classes.
4. Please state how the waiver will promote achievement of performance goals.

This waiver will allow more flexibility in grouping students to meet their abilities and needs and thus should enhance
their achievement on the performance goals.
