Examples of work performed are not to be used for allocation purposes.) Assists in chemical analyses of human and animal tissues by various biochemical and biophysical tests. Makes air pollution surveys at industrial sites, performs tests on samples of air, vapor, gas, dust, foliage, greases, and soils; and performs quantitative analyses of blood and urine samples for lead content and animal bone samples for fluorine. Performs chemical and physical tests and analyses on traffic paints, varnishes, pigments, asphalt, oils, and tars. Performs routine chemical analysis of blood, urine, and special fluids. Performs routine chemical analysis on air, water, waste water, and other environmental samples. Performs a variety of routine chemical or physical tests and analyses of foods, citrus products, milk, fertilizers, pesticides, or petroleum products. Performs related work as required.
