Behaviour Change
“I didn’t appreciate what was involved for clients trying to make changes, it’s not as
straightforward as I thought. I now understand their situations better”

Legal (and Illegal) Highs
“Gained a better understanding of how we can make changes to our service to better
support users of new drugs”
About the course:
Mephadrone became the first big ‘legal high’ story to grab our attention in 2009 and opened up

Young People & Substance Use
“I’ve always found it too intimidating talking to young people about drugs. This
course has really changed that and I feel much better informed”
About the course:
Generally, young people are risk takers and experimenting with alcohol and drugs forms part

people are affected by the drug use of parents and carers.

5 Ways to Wellbeing
“A really nice and refreshing approach which I will use both at work and at home”
About the course:

use, sexual health and a whole range of other social areas. Within the strategy Five Ways
