healthcare providers to render better patient
management and help ensure optimized clinical
outcomes. At our Sudbury facility we manufacture Blood
Gas and Urinalysis Systems for near patient testing.
We are looking for a talented graduate with leadership
potential to join our Technical Engineering team at the
Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics manufacturing site at
Sudbury, Suffolk.
What are my responsibilities?
 Our graduate programme offers a fantastic
opportunity to get real hands on experience in an
exciting and challenging manufacturing environment.
During the 2 year programme individuals will work a
part of the Technical Operations team working on
projects in a number of departments such as R&D
Quality, and Procurement. Particular emphasis will be
on Reagent Process Development.
 The team is responsible for maintenance and
continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment
and developing processes and test methodologies
associated with diagnostics reagent products.
 You will also take part in the Siemens UK Graduate
Programme which provides the opportunity to develop
your skills through a number of core and choice
modules among which are:





Career Management
Business Influencing
PM@Siemens (Project Management)
Presentation Skills
First Time Management
What do I need to qualify for this job?
 You will be working towards or achieved a 2:2 or
above degree in an Engineering or Chemistry /
Biochemistry degree discipline
 Process, manufacturing and / or process automation
experience would be advantageous
 Broad chemistry / biochemistry knowledge of
aqueous chemistry would be desirable
 Have the ability to rapidly understand our existing
processes
 Be a good team player with an ability to work
independently
 Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and
written
 Be well organised with good attention to detail and
good IT skills
