An SSPD officer was called to a residence by two female victims in Stallion Springs regarding
a violation of a restraining order. Upon arrival, the officer was confronted by a combative
male suspect who was in violation of the restraining order. The male subject resisted
arrested and the officer utilized force to arrest the subject without further incident. The
subject was booked into Bakersfield jail for violation of a protective order, witness
intimidation, resisting and delaying an officer, stalking and causing a peace disturbance.
An SSPD officer responded to a call of a suicidal male in Stallion Springs. The subject was
transported to the Tehachapi Hospital. The officer responded to the hospital and placed a
mental evaluation hold on the subject. The subject had consumed an unknown number of
medications and had made suicidal statements.
An SSPD officer arrested an adult female subject in Stallion Springs for an outstanding
narcotics warrant. The female was released a few days later. SSPD was then informed that
the female now had an outstanding narcotics warrant out of Texas. An SSPD officer recontacted the subject, arrested her and transported her to the Bakersfield jail. The subject
was then extradited to Texas.
SSPD officers responded to a call of illegal shooting in Stallion Springs. Officer located the
subjects and detained them. Officers determined that minors were in possession of firearms
and took the weapons into custody for the safety and welfare of the juveniles. Officers filed
the case with the District Attorney’s office.
While on patrol an SSPD officer located discarded mail on Longhorn Drive. The officer
determined that the mail had most likely been stolen from unsecure mailboxes in the
Cummings Valley area. The investigation is ongoing.

SSPD officers were called to a traffic collision in the area of Banducci Road and Bear Valley
Road. The investigation revealed that the single vehicle collision was caused by excessive
speed and possibly distracted driving. The driver of the vehicle was traveling at a high rate
of speed when they left the roadway, lost control of the vehicle on the soft shoulder, struck
a traffic sign, and ran through a fence. The vehicle missed striking a large oak tree head on,
by only a few feet.
SSPD officers responded to calls for an out of control juvenile on multiple occasions. The
officers provided counseling and resource information to the reporting parents. Officers
have determined that this is a civil matter between the two biological parents who are
going through the process of divorce.
An SSPD officer responded to a peace disturbance in Stallion Springs. Upon arrival, the
officer contacted an adult female subject who fled from the residence. The officer was able
to detain the highly intoxicated female, placed her under arrest, and transported her to
Bakersfield jail for booking.
SSPD investigated multiple credit card fraud cases.
During a traffic stop in Stallion Springs, an SSPD officer arrested an adult female driver for
driving without a valid California driver’s license.
An SSPD officer assisted the KCSO with arresting an intoxicated combative adult male.
SSPD officers performed internal training on the temporary custody of juveniles.
SSPD officers received free training through the County of Kern on clandestine drug
laboratories and chemical suicides.
CSU received free training through the State of California and the County of Kern on current
terrorism trends.
