Officers located and arrested an adult male subject in Stallion Springs for an outstanding
$50,000 warrant issued out of Kern County
An SSPD officer received a radio call of a loose and aggressive Pit-bull dog on Arlington
Place. The officer located the owner of the dog and cited her for the applicable Kern County
Municipal Code. During the investigation, the officer contacted an adult male and placed
him under arrest for an outstanding warrant
While on patrol an SSPD officer received a call of two adult males going door to door in
Stallion Springs, attempting to sell meat. The call stated that the subjects had acted
“aggressively”. The officer observed the subjects in question driving a vehicle exceeding the
speed limit. The officer initiated a traffic stop and during the investigation, the officer
discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant and an expired driver’s license. The
officer then placed the driver under arrest and warned both subjects regarding door to door
sales and the applicable Kern County Municipal Codes
During a traffic stop in Stallion Springs for minor vehicle code violations, officers discovered
an adult male’s driver’s license to be suspended. Officers placed the subject under arrest
and requested the additional charge of “Habitual Traffic Offender” be filed on the subject
due to his past driving record
During a traffic collision investigation, an SSPD officer discovered that a driver did not have
vehicle insurance. The officer filed a case with the District Attorney’s office on behalf of the
other driver involved

While on routine patrol in Stallion Springs, SSPD officers observed fire department vehicles
responded to an unknown emergency. Officers were advised that medical units were
dispatched to a Stallion Springs residence for a 49 year old male who was having difficulty
breathing and was unresponsive. The officers responded and discovered that the subject
was under the influence of a controlled substance and had overdosed. Once the subject was
transported to Tehachapi Hospital, SSPD officers were able to interview the subject. During
the investigation, the officers discovered that the subject had stolen medication from an
elderly adult female in his care. Officers filed the following charges on the subject with the
District Attorney’s office: burglary, embezzlement, under the Influence of a control
substance, and possession of a controlled substance
An SSPD officer was off-duty when he was called out for a 9-1-1 hang-up call in Stallion
Springs. The officer responded and observed who then confronted the SSPD officer. The
officer attempted to detain the subject but the subject became aggressive. The officer then
placed the subject under arrest for public intoxication and resisting arrest. The subject was
placed in the rear of the Stallion Springs patrol vehicle where he then began kicking the
inside of the car. The SSPD officer was then able to calm the subject down and transported
him to CRF Jail in Bakersfield
An SSPD officer was off-duty when he was called out for a suicidal juvenile female in Stallion
Springs. The officer responded to the subject’s residence, calmed the female down and took
her into protective custody. The officer transported the subject to a mental health facility in
Bakersfield
SSPD officers responded to a medical aid call in Stallion Springs for an elderly female
suffering from a seizure. Officers stabilized the subject until medial aid responded. Officers
contacted the subjects family members and advised them of the incident
An SSPD officer was off-duty when he was called out for an adult male subject who had
physically attacked his wife. The officer responded and discovered that the adult male
subject was suffering from Alzheimer ’s disease. The officer contacted Kern County Adult
Protective Services and the Mental Evaluation Team
SSPD officers responded to a multi-vehicle traffic collision on Bailey Street and Giraudo
Street, and provided traffic control
SSPD officers responded to a family dispute call in Stallion Springs where a juvenile female
was destroying the inside of the residence. Officers detained the juvenile, calmed her down
and kept the peace
An SSPD officer assisted a Stallion Springs resident with an illegal lockout by the property
owner. The SSPD officer settled the dispute and kept the peace
SSPD officers assisted a Stallion Springs resident with a stolen boulders investigation
An SSPD officer responded to a call of an elderly female who had fallen in her home in
Stallion Springs. The officer convinced the reluctant female to go to the hospital with the
ambulance. At the hospital, it was discovered that the female had a broken hip
SSPD officers received a “Thank You” from the son of an elderly male for their empathy and
professionalism during a family medical emergency

SSPD officers received a call of dirt bikes driving on private property. Officers contacted
numerous juvenile subjects and advised them regarding trespassing and applicable codes
SSPD officers responded to a call of a young adult juvenile left in the home alone in Stallion
Springs. During the investigation, the officers located a parent away from the home and
cited the parent for child neglect. The officers filed a report with Kern County Child
Protective Services as well
An SSPD officer was off-duty when he was called out for multiple complaints of loud music
in Stallion Springs. The officer discovered the source of the music and warned the owner
regarding causing a disturbance
While on routine patrol, an SSPD officer was flagged down by a motorist at Stallion Springs
Drive and Banducci Drive. The adult female driver stated that she believed her husband was
suffering from a heart attack. The officer began to contact medical aid but the subjects
refused to be treated. The officer then led the subjects to the Tehachapi Hospital for
treatment. The family later thanked the officer for his compassion and assistance during the
incident
An SSPD officer received tactical entry training from the Bakersfield Police Department at
no-cost to the SSPD due to our reciprocating relationships with outside agencies
An SSPD officer led school busses back and forth through a dust storm, so that they would
arrive safely at their drop off points
SSPD officers responded to a family dispute call and broke up a physical fight between to
adult siblings. Officers kept the peace and advised both parties
An SSPD officer received a complaint from a Stallion Springs resident regarding cattle loose
on his property. The officer located the owner of the cattle who responded to retrieve the
animals. The officer kept the peace between the complainant and the rancher
An SSPD responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in Stallion Springs. During the
investigation, the officer discovered that a family dispute had taken place. The officer
counseled the parties involved and kept the peace
An SSPD officer was dispatched to a medical aid call for an adult male who was having
difficulty breathing. The officer assisted medical aid, and the subject was transported to the
Tehachapi Hospital
SSPD officers issued two trespass warning citations, protecting private property in Stallion
Springs
