Officer Reports:

Presidents:
Taylor will be visiting Sigma Pi and Sigma Tau Gamma.
G3: New member education program (highly encouraged) the dates are October 28th at 3pm and
This program is open to all new fraternity men and sorority women.
The schedule will remain the same excluding November 12th.
November 19th meeting will be elections. (Applications due November 5th)
October 10th: Haze lecture at 7pm.
Homecoming week schedule:
o
Vice-President:
Each chapter has received the IFC constitution. (Been revised and some changes have been made)
Major change: shrinking the executive board and there were a few minor changes.
Please take the constitution changes to each of the chapters and have it be looked at towards editing and
discussions.
Treasurer:
Phi Delta Theta and Sigma Pi are the only fraternities to pay their dues thus far. Turn the checks in to the
mailbox.
Recruitment:
Homecoming week is a good opportunity to put IFC in a positive light. (Good time to recruit)
Activities:
 IFC sports: Majority of fraternities decided to change IFC football getting changed to October 15th.
 Encouraging the new sports chair to think about changing the IFC sports program due to the cost of
working through the rec.
 Encourage to get the chapters involved with the homecoming float projects.
 Try to work with U.A.C. to have a competition during “Yell like Hell” with PHA.
Scholarship:
 Mid-Terms are due next Tuesday October 15th. (Will be available to view grades October 16th)
 Encouraging helping their fraternity brothers out. (Especially new members)
 Utilize each department resource.
Risk Management:
 National hazing prevention week: There were 177 signatures. (Thank you to whomever signed)
Secretary:
 IFC contact list: update.
Judicial Review Board:
 Nothing to report.
Public Relations:
 Alpha Sigma Alpha Chili Feed on October 13th.
 Make sure to put each chapter letters out at the homecoming FB game.

Chapter Reports
 AKL:
o Continuing the new member education program.
o Date Auction and sleep in a box went really well.
 Kappa Sigma:
o Enjoyed campus clean-up and Alzheimer’s walk this past week.
o Playing flag football with alumni and having a cook out to improve and enjoy the
alumni’s.
o Starting their new member program.
 Sigma Pi:
o Nationals came by last week and will plan to improve fraternal matters.
 Sigma Tau Gamma:
o Super Dance fundraiser went very well.
o Continuing with new member program and will have initiation for new members October
13th.
 Sigma Phi Epsilon:
o Pop’s night was last Thursday and went very well.
 Phi Delta Theta:
o Pole Sit Friday on October 11th @6am continuing through 11am Saturday. (Please donate to
help support S.O.S.
o Homecoming formal dance is Saturday 12th starting at 6pm.
IFC Constitution:
 Please over-look the constitution changes and policies for ideas/discussion.
Announcements:
 Taco Feed: $5 (Help support Catholic Diddie Church) 1415 Merchant Street.
 Phi Delta Theta PoleSit Friday @6AM on October 11th.
 Homecoming week. (Attend the events and have fun.)
 “All Shook Up” This week. Help support the theatre department and enjoy a great show.
Advisor Report:
 Important to build a great connection with the alumni that visits.
 Noble, Josh, and Roger H. have discussed to figure out ways to improve alumni connection.
 Managing time consistently with mid-terms.
