NSSLHA SCHOLARSHIP
National Collegiate Leadership Conference
February 12-14, 2016
The University of Arizona provides the resources for students at all levels to gain
and expand their leadership skills. This year the National Student SpeechLanguage- Hearing Association will sponsor several club members to attend the
National Collegiate Leadership Conference in February 2016.
The National Collegiate Leadership Conference is an annual student-run conference
that serves as the cornerstone of the leadership experience. Each year over 600
participants from universities and colleges in over 20 states attend NCLC. Learning
leadership and communication skills in this conference will be of great experience
for your future endeavors within school, jobs and on a day-to-day basis.
NSSLHA recognizes the importance of leadership, especially at the undergraduate
level, our field of study, and in our club. NSSLHA is offering this chance to apply to
all club members who are interested in leadership development and need
assistance in covering the cost of the event. There will be several fully funded
winners that will be expected to attend the event from February 12-14th.
The total cost for the event is $70 per person, but there is a waiver that is being
offered for early registration by December 10th. Therefore, there will be no
adjustments in deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria:
● Scholarship recipient must be a current NSSLHA member.
● NSSLHA member must be enrolled as a full time student at the University of
Arizona.
We greatly encourage and promote that students remain involved and participate in
events that will improve their undergraduate career and benefit them in their
