OLE MISS FALL INSTITUTE
will be held on October 14 and 15,
2010 at the Ole Miss Inn. We are
proud to announce that Scott J.
Yaruss, Ph.D, CCC-SLP will be the
guest speaker, addressing the topic
effective stuttering therapy in
school-aged children.
We are VERY excited about
Fall Institute this year! The second
year graduate students have been
working very hard to make this a
success. Currently we are collecting
items for a silent auction, from
which proceeds are applied to the
NSSLHA account to cover student
and outreach activities. We
encourage ANY and ALL help!

(successfully), email your name

We ask that you only sign-up for
one hour to give everyone equal

welcome to sign-up for additional
hours if they are available. Per hour

NSSLHA LOVES
Our goal is to raise $500 this

benefits
the
Stuttering
Foundation this year. We plan
on holding bake sales, selling Tshirts, and taking donations. In
addition to working the bake
sales and selling the T-shirts, we
are going to have the following
volunteer opportunities coming
up: a clean-up day at the clinic
prior to ASHA coming (which is
soon), tutoring for CSD classes,
and helping out when a group
tours the school in a few weeks,
if everything works out. We may
also try and hold another career
day. Watch your emails for up
dates on signing up for these
opportunities. You will be
notified soon. If you have any
questions or ideas please contact
the Undergraduate VP Shelise
